The 9th Inter-Institutional Scientific Webinar “Applications of NMR-based Metabolomics” organized within the framework of the MR LATVIA project.
NMR-based metabolomics offers a quantitative, highly reproducible window into the small-molecule composition of complex samples, from biofluids and cell cultures to foods.
This webinar brings together researchers working across these areas to show how a single analytical approach supports questions in clinical research, drug discovery and food characterization. Each talk highlights the practical side of the method: what it can measure and what that measurement reveals.
Agenda:
15:00 - 15:05: Prof. Paola Turano: Introduction
15:05 - 15:20: Dr. Alessia Vignoli: "¹H detected NMR of biofluids"
15:20 - 15:35: Dr. Veronica Ghini: "Drug screening in cellular models"
15:35 - 15:50: Dr. Gaia Meoni: "Metabolomics in food characterization: Foodomics"
15:50 - 16:15: Q&A Session
