As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international collaboration and research excellence, MR LATVIA was presented at the inaugural Nordic/Baltic NMR Principal Investigators (PI) Meeting, held at the Swedish NMR Center on October 14–15, 2025.
The meeting brought together leading NMR scientists and infrastructure coordinators from across the Nordic and Baltic regions to discuss strategic directions for advancing magnetic resonance research and technology.
Dr. Alons Lends represented MR LATVIA, contributing to discussions on:
- Opportunities for collaborative research projects within the regional NMR community;
- Instrumentation needs and shared infrastructure development;
- Strategies to attract and support new user communities;
- Initiatives for training and recruiting the next generation of NMR spectroscopists.
This Nordic/Baltic NMR PI meeting represents an important milestone in fostering regional cooperation, aligning infrastructure strategies, and promoting joint scientific excellence in magnetic resonance research.
